Teacher Appreciation Chalkboard Pot

Happy hump day!  We had an all day walking field trip today so I am quite exhausted, but wanted to share what I brought my sons' preschool teachers today.

I sprayed the pot with chalkboard paint, planted some daisies and tied a piece of chalk to the tag.  The picture doesn't show it, but I wrote a note in chalk to each of the teachers.  They enjoyed them, they were economical and fun!  The thank you circle came from printables came from Dimple Prints.  Your can find them here.

Teacher Appreciation...continued

Happy Monday!  Today is the first official day of teacher appreciation.  What are you doing to show thanks for the teacher(s) in your life?  I love this vase, so simple yet cute:

I must admit that gift cards are always a great gift, especially coffee ones.  I love this idea using the cup "cozy" as part of the card.

And finally, something I have been wanting to make for quite sometime with crayons:

Well, I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day.

Teacher Appreciation Journal Jar

I thought I would share some teacher appreciation gift ideas this week that I have stumbled upon.  I will take a picture of mine later this week and post it.  This one today is from Nicole Heady's blog from Papertrey Ink (love their stamps).

Nicole's blogpost, here, gives a great tutorial along with a pdf of great journaling prompts for a teacher to answer about here career.  As a teacher myself, I think I will be doing this for me.  I love the idea!

Chalkboard Paint and Teachers

I think chalkboard paint is so fun.  I just wish we had smooth walls to incorporate it into our playroom somehow, but we don't.  So I'll have to live with some other ideas.  I am trying to come up with an idea for a teacher appreciation gift using chalkboard paint.  I am a teacher, but for the first time have preschool teachers to appreciate.  They do a great job and I want to come up with a fun idea.  Here are some fun ideas I have run across so far:

Great idea for a beach party/wedding:

Photobooth prop:

I love this idea using old globes.  I have a couple of these in my classroom.

These are great, I have actually made these and my son loves them.

I am leaning towards doing something with pots.  I love this idea:

And this is just fun:

Well, I will continue to ponder ideas and let you know what I decide.  What brilliant ideas have you come across?
