More Carnival Fun

It's so funny the reaction I get from my friends when I tell them how excited I am for the fair/carnival.  Most are dreading it or won't even bring their kids.  Well, our carnival was over Memorial Day weekend and it pretty much was a muddy mess.  We have had a lot of rain lately and it put a damper on our time at the carnival.  We did bring our son and he enjoyed the animals and the kiddie rides (merry-go-round and a car ride).  I remember as a kid that the carnival seemed so larger, but walking around it one time it really is not.  But I did enjoy it.  Today, I thought I would share some carnival decorating ideas.

Here are some more great decor ideas I found on Kara's Party Place.

Clown making

I love circus and carnival themed parties.  We are going to have a carnival party this summer here at our house and our annual city carnival is coming to town this week, so I thought I would share some fun ideas I have found.  I am always looking for fun ideas to do with my preschooler.  Well, I came across this great photgraphy web site, Katherine Marie.  She does some great themes with her kids each week and blogs about them (and take gorgeous pictures of them.  I found this build a clown activity that was so clever:

You can find more info about the clown theme hereSummer is almost here and I plan to refer to her site for many fun ideas this summer.
Not only is this just a fun preschooler idea, but a great carnival/circus party activity.
